Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.
I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I’m being productive when I’m really just procrastinating. Here’s a big list of all of my favorite stuff.
Workstation
13” MacBook Air, M1, 8GB RAM 256GB SSD
Using the MacBook for my studies and adventures in the world of programming has been an extremely positive experience, thanks to its fluidity and compatibility with a wide range of tools.
Mouse MX Master 3s
This mouse is extraordinarily comfortable and boasts a long-lasting battery that is truly impressive. Moreover, the additional button options provide functionality that, once experienced, becomes indispensable.
Logitech MX Keys
An excellent combination with this mouse is the keyboard that, just like the mouse, allows switching between connected devices. This greatly facilitates the transition between different computers, bringing agility and efficiency to daily tasks.
Development tools
Visual Studio Code
VSCode is my main tool for development, regardless of the language I'm using. I use it every day and, although I still try out other IDEs, it remains my favorite, especially due to the variety of extensions that I use and that have become an integral part of my daily routine.
Design
Figma
Figma is a tool that I use sporadically. Although my knowledge is basic, I recognize its value and always notice benefits when I use it, whether it's for organizing ideas or having references during development.
